Both ancient Roman towns were destroyed and buried under the ashes by Mt. Vesuvius eruption of 79a.d. and today, they represent a real evidence of how it was the original Roman culture, lifestyle and architecture: like a journey back in the past. (During the day, we can also stop for a quick lunch, optionally)- After that, we will drive back to the starting location.*We highly recommend hiring a private guide who will lead you through the ruins for a better experience.
